Next is the backward-pointing pubis of Ornithischians. Scientists once thought this resembled birds but now they know birds are more closely related to saurischians (lizard-hipped) so ornithischian means bird-hipped but that is wrong. Scientists now aren't sure why the ornithiscian hip is different.
